‘THE PIAZZA EFFECT’

Following the studies of Piazza di Spagna. This urban analysis consists on the study of the “Trident” generated at Piazza del Popolo, more specifically the Via del Babuino and the influence that provides to the urban spaces that surrounds it.

In the process it came to realization that the street may not have its current relevance if it was not for the Piazza di Spagna and that this aspect worked the other way around. Meaning that both of these elements co-depend on each other in order to have the level of protagonism it has in the city of Rome. It can be said that the conclusion acquired on this study is the acknowledge that a single urban space is often complemented by other elements that defines its true identity.
